2020 Season Update:

Dear BV Sabre Families,

It is with a heavy heart that we send this letter tonight. We have received official notice from TVYFL that the 2020 season has been cancelled. The health and safety of all our players, cheerleaders, coaches and families are our top priority. With all that is currently going on in our area, and the current restrictions that are now in place, we believe this decision is for the best. We have attached the letter from TVYFL below for you as well.

All families who have made any payments toward their registration fees will receive refunds. Trish Heffner (bvsabrestreasurer@gmail.com) will be contacting you individually to make arrangements for refunds. Any amounts that were fundraised will be rolled over and applied to your player or cheerleader for the 2021 season. If you are aging out of Sabres after this season and fundraised any amounts, please contact Kristen Simonsen (bvsabresfundraisingcord@gmail.com) if you would like to transfer those amounts to another player/cheerleader for next season.

We are heartbroken that our Sabre Family will not be able to play and perform this season together, however we know that we serve a big God and trust him to watch over each of you in the meantime. Thank you so much for your support and prayers as we have navigated a very difficult year. We look forward to enjoying some incredible Sabre football and cheer next season together with you!

Good Evening TVYFL Family,

During the last five months the TVYFL Board and Team Reps have been working diligently to find solutions to keep the 2020 season alive. We have delayed the start of the season and decreased the number of games in hope that the COVID 19 pandemic would subside.

Unfortunately, the number of cases in our area and across the state have dramatically increased. Local and state authorities have implemented various restrictions that have impacted us in many ways.

We understand these restrictions are in place for the safety of our communities. The TVYFL has always held safety as a top priority. With this in mind the TVYFL Board has decided that the 2020 season will be cancelled.

We extend our gratitude to all TVYFL teams for their hard work and dedication. We will stay connected over the next few months in preparation of the 2021 season. Please stay safe, healthy and positive during this extended off-season.
